Trying out Taskspotting

A little while ago, we signed up for "Taskspotting" after hearing about it in The National. If you're not familiar with it, it is an app that allows for brands to gather market information about their products and competitors' products by having those that download it answer a few questions, and sometimes take photos or purchase a product. In return for completing these tasks or "missions" as they are referred to in the app, they offer monetary rewards.

While you won't earn enough to quit your day job, we've found that it's a fun way to earn a little bit of cash while we're out and about anyway.

Missions take around 5 minutes to complete and "sync" and then are usually approved within a day.

Once approved, the monetary reward can be redeemed.

As there is a 10aed fee for each time you collect your earnings at a "UAE exchange" branch, we've found that it's best to complete a bunch of missions and then collect a larger sum in one go instead.

If you've not tried it out yet, use this referral code when you sign up and once you complete a mission we'll both get 5aed!

While we were initially a bit weary about the app- we've found that it really is *that* simple. We've already gotten part of our earnings.

Have you tried it out? Let us know how you found it :)
